The 3 dots are not only not very useful, but inaccurate. My controllers with multiple batteries show 2 dots, and within a minute the controller reports low battery and another minute lost controller. This has happened multiple times with multiple batteries. The percent meter worked better as I knew between 20-30 percent it was time to recharge.
