May 06, 2019 · MakeMKV has been on the WantedPorts listfor a very long time. I see there's some attempt linked which hasn't seen a commit for 7 years. That one just builds the GUI, which is IMHO the wrong approach, because the GUI can't do anything without the closed source binary.
That is not it. All my ISOs are created using Any DVD HD. MakeMKV can use the Backup function on mine. I just mount the ISOs using the free Virtual CLone Drive from the Any DVD HD maker, Redfox website. Then select that disc with MakeMKV and the Backup function is an option.

Now I cannot seem to rip at all using makemkv unless I disable anydvd (I don't get any warning from makemkv like I used to, I'm simply unable to click on the drive image to get the titles) so that's what I do.
I downloaded MakeMKV and ripped ToyStory2 and 3 with no problems, then a DVD rip of UP with no problems, but for the last day and a half I cant get a rip to go through. I have tried with Tangled and Bugs Life(both BluRay). I have had multiple failures with both disks.
